Katharine Gibbs School and Rosemont College
Transfer Program for Gibbs Students

Rosemont College is located on a sprawling 56-acre campus in an attractive, historic suburban community 11 miles west of Philadelphia. Through a special new transfer articulation arrangement, Katharine Gibbs School is excited to announce a new program that gives Gibbs students the opportunity to transfer to Rosemont upon the completion of their associate’s degree.

This exciting arrangement allows Gibbs students to:

  • Take advantage of Gibbs career-oriented programs and flexible course schedules, and then transfer to Rosemont to pursue a bachelor’s degree.
  • Apply for admission to Rosemont College with no application fee.
  • Financial aid is available for those who qualify.
  • Attend Rosemont’s Undergraduate Women’s College (women only) or participate in Rosemont’s School of Continuing Studies (men and women).

For Female Students
By transferring to Rosemont’s Undergraduate Women’s College, female students can pursue a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business; Management; or Sociology/Forensics/Criminology; or a Bachelor of Arts in Studio Art.

For Male and Female Students
Rosemont College also offers a Bachelor of Science Degree in Management as a part of their School of Continuing Studies that caters to both men and women. This focused degree program is completed in five-week sessions, normally once a week for four hours.

Wondering if you qualify for this new program?
To qualify for consideration, students must have earned an associate’s degree with an overall GPA of at least 2.0. Students with an earned associate’s degree will be granted first semester junior status.*

While you might not expect it from a private women's college, Rosemont is described as ‘an ethnically and culturally diverse place’ made up of ‘students of all different interests, races, and tastes.’ …A senior shares, "The tight-knit community is a major strength of my school. There is a lot of room to grow."

* In addition, Rosemont College agrees to accept in transfer those credits earned towards the associate’s degree in which the student earned at least a grade of D (1.0 on a 4.0 scale); developmental courses are not eligible for transfer. Rosemont retains the right to determine whether transfer credits will be applied to general education requirements, requirements within the major, or as electives.
