The Medical Assisting Associate's Degree gives students the education they need to work as part of a healthcare team in a physician’s office, hospital, medical clinic, or therapy center. Proficiency in medical administrative office management, medical terminology, and clinical procedure qualifies students for a variety of entry-level positions:
- Medical Assistant
- Phlebotomist
- Medical Secretary
- Office Assistant
- Medical Records Manager
Upon successful completion of Katharine Gibbs School’s Medical Assisting Program, an Associate's Degree is awarded. In most cases, program can be completed in as little as 18 months.
